Ultrasound Scanner Training enjoyed a great day training the vets at Donaldson’s Vets in Huddersfield on their GE Logiq E scanner. Even though some of the vets had some experience in both abdominal and cardiac imaging, we still went over the basics again in each imaging mode, it was great to see faces suddenly understanding controls and knowing how to optimise images.
Even if you’ve been using ultrasound for a while, it’s still worth learning more about the controls of your ultrasound scanner and unlocking it’s true potential. A common comment I hear is ‘Oh, thats what that button is for’, one of our sessions could help you to understand your scanner and allow you to confidently use more of its features to assist with an accurate diagnosis.
