The Pet Vet Ultrasound Scanner Training

Ultrasound Scanner Training were at The Pet Vet in Rotherham, a great day showing the vets how to get to grips with the controls on their Philips IE33 scanner. The system has microconvex and phased array probes and although it’s possible to do some basic cardiology with a microconvex probe, it’s always better to have the correct tools for the job and a phased array probe make such a difference to your cardiac imaging. A phased array probe will also utilise some imaging modes on your scanner that abdominal probes don’t, such as Continuous Wave Doppler and Tissue Doppler Imaging.

If you’re looking for some training on your scanner, or for advice on which probes to get to increase the flexibility of your system, call me on 07795322354 or email info@ultrasoundscannertraining.co.uk. Head to our other blog pages for further information, hints and tips.
