Ultrasound Scanner Training have recently carried out a series of training sessions for vets at various surgeries across the Willows Vets Group. The sites had a variety of scanners, some with Esaote systems including the MyLab X5 and MyLab Sigma and others having Sonoscape, Mindray and Chison units. Quite a varied mix of equipment, but one thing in common at all of the sites was the vets’ enthusiasm to learn more about how to drive their scanners, get the best out of them and gain confidence in scanning. It was a very busy but enjoyable few days and great to see users start to understand the controls and how to use them. Thanks to all the staff at each of the surgeries for making me feel so welcome and the continuous supply of coffee throughout, really hope to be back again for more advanced driving lessons.
